Derek Rudnak joined MediPurpose as a consultant in October 2009, working closely with MediPurpose founder and CEO Patrick Yi to continue the company’s development of its Website, blog, social media and other online and offline marketing communication objectives.

Rudnak brings a well-rounded range of experience to MediPurpose. With more than 15 years as professional communicator, Rudnak’s career has spanned journalism, public relations and marketing as a writer, editor, graphic designer and online media strategist.

In the late 70s, I started my career building software and then moved on to building my colleagues' knowledge in computers at SingTel, the dominant telco in Singapore.

In the 80s, I helped to build Raffles City, a billion dollar complex comprising the tallest hotel in the world, an office tower and a shopping podium.

In the early 90s, I built a new debit card payment service called NETS.

In 1999 I started MediPurpose and built it into a global medical device company.

My goal is to help other innovators and entrepreneurs build their products and companies.

As of January 2012, Randy Prather is no longer with us at MediPurpose. We thank Randy for six years of loyal service.

After directing sales and marketing for MediPurpose's medical products in the United States, Canada, Central America and South America for two years, Randy Prather was named president and COO of MediPurpose in July 2008.

Randy's extensive background in medical product distribution—as well as in home healthcare and medical capital equipment sales and marketing—spans two decades, having served most recently as the VP Sales/GM with Neotonus, Inc.

In the years prior to that, he served in regional sales management and at the executive level for companies such as Curtin Matheson Scientific, Apria Healthcare, and Boehinger Mannheim.
